GLENDALE FOLK & HERITAGE FESTIVAL
Mar 21, 2010 - 3:30pm
Sahuaro Ranch Park
9802 N 59th Ave
Glendale, AZ
Sunday, March 21, 2010 – 3:30 p.m.
Sahuaro Ranch Park, 59th Avenue between Olive and Peoria Aves., Glendale, AZ
This is likely the largest folk festival in Arizona, with many acts over the weekend, and ADMISSION IS FREE! Back Porch Bandits ringleader Ken Clemmer and banjoboyJosh Tharp will play a set at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Maintenance Shed venue of Sahuaro Ranch Park – Old-Time, cowboy, originals and such. It’s stuff you may not hear during a full-band show, and we think you’ll like it.
Sahuaro Ranch Park is a swell place at any time, and for the festival it has six different venues operating Saturday and Sunday with a variety of musical acts.
This is the successor and replacement for the long-running Encanto Folk Festival, and we’re proud of Glendale and Sahuaro Ranch Park for continuing the tradition.
